Here at Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity we depend greatly on our volunteers. In the ReStore, we have volunteers that run the cash register, go on donation pickups, sort and price clothes, housewares, and building supplies, and so much more. We also have volunteers that help on the actual build site when we are building homes for our partner families! No matter your experience level we have a place for you.
We also accept large groups of volunteers. Church groups, school groups, social groups, etc. are always welcome to come and serve with us. If you are an individual who is looking for a place to serve court-ordered community service you can serve here at Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity (some restrictions mandated by Habitat International). If you are a student looking to add some community service experience to your college resume, we would love to be able to help you with that. No matter your situation, you are welcome to volunteer at Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity. Our volunteers are the backbone of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter right here in Jefferson County, Tennessee.
